As the title suggests, it portrays the only colour in the life of a young girl Malli who is blind by birth and how her father Murugan describes the world of colours to her.
The film has several touching moments where the acting talents of Mammootty has been completely brought out. As Murugan he handles the role of the Tamil worker with great skill.
The movie is relevant in the context of the current scenario where a majority of children who are blind in our state is on the rise. It tells the handships in the life and how people still are ignorant of eye transplant, which could be beneficial to many such children.
